The Specialist Accreditation Scheme was created by the NSW Law Society as a way to assist potential claimants, and other legal practitioners, to find a practitioner with a proven capability in specialist areas of law. Personal injury is one of these. In short, to be a Personal Injury Accredited Specialist, a solicitor must have at least five years full time practice, at least three years specialty work, and have passed rigorous exams in the relevant law.

This Scheme has been instrumental in assisting claimants identify a solicitor who can genuinely be considered a respected and well-regarded specialist in personal injury.
