David Galback to Lawyers

David Gal has an Honours Degree in Law and an Arts Degree from Sydney University.

David joined Carneys Lawyers in 2003 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in 2009. His practice is in general commercial litigation with experience in the District Court, Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia. David's also been engaged in unfair contracts and general employment matters heard by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales.

Outside his law degree, David's university studies included a range of information technology subjects, giving him great expertise in this area. His skills and training are applied to his litigation practice especially in the management and collation of documents which is so important in achieving a cost effective outcome to litigation.

Together with one of the partners, John Dawson, David has a keen interest in aviation. He's a member of the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand and has valuable experience assisting in aviation regulatory matters and claims arising out of aircraft accidents which have been litigated in Australian and American Courts.
