John Carneyback to Lawyers

John Carney established J A Carney & Company in 1964.

John's goal was to grow his practice into the company it is today, Carneys Lawyers. John continued as a Senior Partner of the firm until June 30, 2000, when he became a consultant for the firm. Even today, he's still in the office every day.

John was admitted as a Solicitor in Sydney in May 1956, and began working for a large city legal firm until he became Associate Partner of CR Potts & Company, in August 1958, and remained there until 30 June 1964 when he started his own company.

John's expertise is in the following areas:

  • All property and conveyancing matters.
  • Mortgage finance, including clients' Mortgage and security documents.
  • Mortgage investments for clients that currently totals millions of dollars invested on their behalf. John also handles mortgage transactions for Banks and Building Societies.
  • Negotiation and preparation of commercial leases. Estate planning, Wills, Trusts and Probate matters.
