Wallace Meakesback to Lawyers

Wally Meakes was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1982.

Wally joined Carney Lawyers in 1981 and is now enjoying his 28th year with the firm. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1982 with a degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a degree in Law from the University of Technology. In 1985 Wally was admitted as a partner at Carneys Lawyers. His practice is predominately Property Law, and he has extensive experience and expertise in the area of Commercial Business Law.

Wally is accredited by the Law Society as an Accredited Specialist in Property Law. He's been able to develop a broad solid base of clients both individual and corporate. Acting for developers in relation to acquisitions of sites, joint venture agreements, and from commencement to finalisation of all levels of property development. He also acts in relation to many lease transactions, both for the landlord and tenant, and is retained by a number of overseas clients including MGM.

Wally has provided advice to many individuals and corporations over the last 28 years, developing a wealth of knowledge in the commercial and property area. From time to time he's chaired a number of property seminars conducted by the College of Law, providing seminars to property professionals in large corporations including CBRE Richard Ellis.
